Is it safe for people with seizures to get vaccinated?
Yes, it is safe for people with seizures, seizure disorder, or epilepsy to get the COVID vaccines. People with any of these conditions can safely get any of the current COVID vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson). The only reason a person cannot safely get the vaccine is if they have had a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis to one of the components of the vaccine.
If you are concerned about the safety of getting a vaccine due to your particular health condition, speak to your doctor.
