Should I worry about coronavirus in donor milk given to my preterm infant?

Donor milk may be used to nourish hospitalized preterm infants and other infants in special situations. Donor milk undergoes pasteurization, a heating process that kills many viruses and bacteria. Recent research has shown that pasteurization inactivates novel coronavirus in breastmilk. This suggests that it is safe to give donor milk to your infant if needed.
