Can I mix and match vaccines for my booster shot?

You should complete the first 2 doses of mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) vaccines with the same brand. If that’s not possible, the CDC says that it’s still better to get two doses, even if you mix and match. But for your booster shot, you can get either mRNA vaccine no matter which brand you got your first 2 doses with.
If you got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you should definitely get a booster. While any booster will work, we recommend getting a Pfizer or Modern booster, because they are the most effective.
So keep yourself, your friends, and your family safe: get vaccinated, and get a booster shot when the time comes.
