What are the symptoms of the Delta Variant?
While the Delta variant is certainly more contagious than the original virus, we’re not sure yet if specific symptoms are more or less likely with Delta. As far as we know, you should be on the lookout for the exact same symptoms. Any of these symptoms could be a symptom of COVID-19:
- Dry cough,
- Muscle aches,
- Shortness of breath,
- Loss of smell or taste.
And here are some less common symptoms:
- Chest pain,
- Sore throat,
- Nausea or vomiting,
- Runny or stuffy nose.
If you have any of these symptoms, you should get tested for COVID-19 and isolate yourself away from others until the test results come back.
