Yes, please get tested if you know you have COVID! Getting tested creates a public health record of proven cases of COVID-19. This helps doctors keep accurate records of who and how many people have been sick. It also helps with contact tracing, which reduces the spread of COVID and keeps your community safe. Just remember a false negative test can occur if you get tested too early or too late in your infection.
