Dr. Anne Monroe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at The George Washington University. She is the Project Director of the DC Cohort, a clinical cohort to examine HIV outcomes among over 11,000 people receiving HIV care in Washington, DC. Her other research interests include metabolic and cardiovascular complications of HIV infection. Additionally, she was part of the GWU faculty team providing support to the COVID response at the Health Department in Montgomery County, MD. Dr. Monroe maintains a clinical practice providing HIV primary care at the Washington DC VA Hospital.
