Andrew Tran is an undergraduate student at Duke University majoring in Biology. He is passionate about reducing barriers to healthcare access by improving healthcare literacy on COVID-19 issues through COVID-101, developing low-cost prosthetic devices for North Carolina amputees, and helping to establish Duke's first regional coordinated care network to more effectively address the needs of vulnerable populations. He is involved in clinical liver cancer research with the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Stanford School of Medicine and basic epithelial cancer research with the Department of Pathology at the Duke School of Medicine.
